Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy has officially received AUN-QA accreditation certificates for its undergraduate programs in Nursing and Public Health, becoming the first medical and pharmaceutical higher education institution in the Central and Central Highlands regions of Viet Nam to achieve 100% accreditation of all undergraduate academic programs currently in operation.

The ASEAN University Network (AUN) successfully completed the external quality assessment of the University's Bachelor of Nursing and Bachelor of Public Health programs under the AUN-QA standards during the 493rd AUN-QA Assessment, conducted from July 22 to July 24, 2025. The official accreditation certificates were awarded on December 1, 2025.

The accreditation certificate numbers are as follows:

• AP1238DUMTPJUL2025 – Bachelor of Nursing Program
• AP1239DUMTPJUL2025 – Bachelor of Public Health Program

With these two internationally accredited programs, Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy has successfully completed quality accreditation for 100% of its undergraduate programs currently offered, including the following seven programs:

• General Medicine
• Pharmacy
• Nursing
• Medical Laboratory Technology
• Rehabilitation Technology
• Medical Imaging Technology
• Public Health

Prior to the AUN-QA accreditation, the University had already completed national program accreditation for five undergraduate programs in accordance with the quality standards issued by the Ministry of Education and Training of Viet Nam.

1. Medical Laboratory Technology

• Accredited in accordance with the quality standards of the Ministry of Education and Training.
• Accreditation Certificate issued on October 18, 2022, by the Center for Education Accreditation – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (CEA-VU&C).

2. Pharmacy

• Accredited in accordance with the quality standards of the Ministry of Education and Training.

• Decision No.: 271/QĐ-KĐCLGD dated October 18, 2022.

3. General Medicine

• Accredited in accordance with the quality standards of the Ministry of Education and Training.
• Accreditation Certificate issued on February 6, 2023, by CEA-VU&C.
• Certificate No.: CTĐT2023.07/CEA-VU&C
• Decision No.: 25/QĐ-KĐCLGD dated February 6, 2023.

4. Medical Imaging Technology

• Accredited in accordance with the quality standards of the Ministry of Education and Training.
• Accreditation Certificate issued on February 6, 2023, by CEA-VU&C.

• Decision No.: 23/QĐ-KĐCLGD dated February 6, 2023.

5. Rehabilitation Technology

• Accredited in accordance with the quality standards of the Ministry of Education and Training.
• Accreditation Certificate issued on February 6, 2023, by CEA-VU&C.

• Decision No.: 24/QĐ-KĐCLGD dated February 6, 2023.

Earlier, the University also completed institutional accreditation in accordance with the quality standards of the Ministry of Education and Training.

As part of its long-term development strategy, the University aims to achieve AUN-QA accreditation for 100% of its undergraduate programs, ensuring that all academic programs meet international quality standards and promote regional integration. Looking ahead, the University also plans to pursue accreditation under the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) standards, reaffirming its commitment to the continuous improvement of educational quality.
