Opening Ceremony of the 524th AUN-QA External Assessment for Three Academic Programs at Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy

On the morning of June 16, 2026, Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy (DUMTP) solemnly held the opening ceremony for the 524th AUN-QA external assessment of three academic programs: Pharmacy, Rehabilitation Technology, and Medical Laboratory Technology.

The ceremony was attended by the external assessment team from the ASEAN University Network – Quality Assurance (AUN-QA), representatives of partner organizations, employers, alumni, as well as the University's leaders, lecturers, staff members, and students.

In the opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Thuy, Rector of the University, emphasized that quality assurance has always been identified as a key mission in the University's development strategy. The continued participation in external assessment under the AUN-QA framework demonstrates the University's strong commitment to continuously improving educational quality, promoting international integration, expanding learning and career development opportunities for students, and strengthening connections with higher education institutions across Southeast Asia and around the world.

The Rector also expressed her expectation that, through this external assessment, the University would continue to receive objective, scientific evaluations and valuable recommendations from the AUN-QA assessment team. These insights will serve as an important foundation for identifying the University's strengths, recognizing areas for improvement, and guiding the future development of its academic programs. The University is committed to providing complete and accurate information and supporting evidence, while creating the most favorable conditions for the assessment team to successfully carry out its mission.

The 524th AUN-QA external assessment takes place from June 16 to June 18, 2026, and includes a range of professional activities such as reviewing supporting documents and evidence, conducting interviews with stakeholders, inspecting facilities and infrastructure, and working with the University's academic and administrative units.

The results of this external assessment will serve as an important basis for Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy to further strengthen its internal quality assurance system, enhance the quality of education and training, meet the increasingly demanding expectations of society and the healthcare sector, and keep pace with the trend of international integration in higher education.
