On the afternoon of July 11, 2026, Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy held the Opening Ceremony for the First-Level Specialist Programs in 2026, officially welcoming newly admitted students to the University's postgraduate programs for the 2026–2027 academic year.

The ceremony was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Thuy, Rector of the University; Dr. Dang Van Thoi, Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Minh Son, Vice Rector; together with leaders of the University's units, lecturers appointed under Decree No. 111, adjunct lecturers, representatives of partner hospitals, and all newly admitted First-Level Specialist students for 2026.

In 2026, Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy enrolled students in the First-Level Specialist Programs in Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology, Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Internal Medicine, and Surgery. The two-year training programs are designed to provide advanced professional knowledge, strengthen clinical competencies, and enhance practical skills for healthcare professionals, thereby meeting the evolving demands of the healthcare sector in the new era.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Thuy, Rector of the University, congratulated the newly admitted students on successfully enrolling and officially becoming First-Level Specialist trainees at Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy. The Rector emphasized:

"The University hopes that throughout your studies, you will not only acquire knowledge in the classroom but also actively exchange practical experience, learn from one another, and together build an open, responsible, and humane academic environment. The integration of practical experience with scientific knowledge will create the distinctive value of the First-Level Specialist training program."

Speaking on behalf of the partner hospitals, Dr. Specialist Level II Truong Thanh Hung, Deputy Director of Hospital 199 under the Ministry of Public Security, expressed his confidence in the University's training quality. He also expected the students to maintain a serious learning attitude, actively engage in research, and effectively apply their acquired knowledge in professional practice, thereby contributing to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment at healthcare facilities.

The Opening Ceremony marked the beginning of the 2026 First-Level Specialist Programs and reaffirmed the position of Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy as a prestigious institution for training high-quality healthcare professionals.
