1. Introducing the training program
Since 2013, the institution has officially become Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy. The Faculty of Pharmacy is one of the first faculties offering undergraduate programmes at the University. To date, the Faculty has delivered 12 cohorts of full-time undergraduate students, of which 7 cohorts have graduated.
The Undergraduate programme in Pharmacy has been developed to meet the demand for human resources in terms of qualifications and specialised fields, to respond to the healthcare needs of the population, and to contribute effectively to the healthcare system as well as to the advancement of pharmaceutical sciences in Vietnam. At the same time, the programme ensures compliance with the minimum knowledge requirements and competency standards expected of graduates as stipulated by the Ministry of Education and Training.
Since the initiation of undergraduate pharmacy education, the Faculty of Pharmacy has continuously developed and improved the programme to enhance the quality of teaching and learning.

3. Career and further study opportunities after graduation
3.1. Career Opportunities
Graduates are equipped to take on roles within the four main operational areas of the pharmacy sector, such as:
- State Management: Carrying out tasks related to implementing state policies on pharmaceuticals and the development of the pharmaceutical industry, or other activities related to medicines and pharmaceutical raw materials.
- Production – Business: Working at companies involved in the pharmaceutical and medical product industries.
- Training - Scientific Research: Worked at training institutions and medical/pharmaceutical research facilities.
- Hospital pharmacy: Working in the pharmacy departments of local or national healthcare facilities such as hospitals and clinics.
3.2. Advanced Study Opportunities:
- Specialist Pharmacist Level I.
- Specialist Pharmacist Level II.
- Master of Pharmacy (MPharm or M.S. in Pharmacy).
- PhD in Pharmacy (Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmacy).
4. Admission Requirements, Training Process, and Graduation Requirements
4.1. Admission Requirements
High school graduates (or equivalent) who fully meet the standards and criteria established by the university's admission scheme. Specifically, during this period, conditions include:
- Registering for admission based on the subject combinations of the National High School Graduation Exam, including: B00 (Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology), B08 (Mathematics, Biology, English), A00 (Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics), and D07 (Mathematics, Chemistry, English).
- Having registered aspirations for the Pharmacy major and achieving a score equal to or higher than the admission cutoff score for the Pharmacy major at Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy.
Special cases (direct admission, completion of pre-university programs) are carried out in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and approved by the Rector's decision.
4.2. Training Process
Implemented in accordance with the guidelines of Circular No. 08/2021/TT-BGDĐT dated March 18, 2021, of the Ministry of Education and Training regarding the promulgation of Regulations on Undergraduate Education.
Specifically, following Decision No. 252/Decision-DUMTP dated August 2, 2021, of the Rector of Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy regarding the promulgation of Regulations on Undergraduate Education at Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy.
4.3. Graduation Requirements
1. Students are considered and recognized for graduation when they meet all of the following conditions:
a) Accumulate all required courses and credits, and complete other mandatory contents as required by the training program; achieve the program's learning outcomes.
b) Achieve a cumulative grade point average (CPA) for the entire course of average or higher.
c) Must not be subject to criminal prosecution or academic suspension at the time of graduation consideration.
2. Students eligible for graduation shall be recognized by a decision from the Rector and awarded the degree within 03 months from the time the student fully meets the graduation requirements and completes obligations to the University.
