Curriculum and Syllabus

Program learning outcome (PLOs)
Upon completion of the undergraduate Pharmacy program at Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy, graduates are expected to achieve the following competencies:

KNOWLEDGE

PLO1: Apply knowledge of natural sciences, social sciences, and scientific methodology in the field of healthcare and pharmaceutical sciences.

PLO2: Apply principles regarding the relationships among chemical structure, physicochemical properties, and pharmacological effects in the research, manufacturing, and quality control of pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical raw materials.

PLO3: Apply integrated knowledge in pharmacognosy and pharmaceutical manufacturing to develop and utilize dosage forms.

PLO4: Recommend therapeutic regimens to optimize efficacy and safety for patients based on pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, clinical pharmacy, and rational drug use.

PLO5: Apply regulatory frameworks, management principles, and pharmacoeconomics in pharmaceutical practice and business.

SKILLS

PLO6: Perform technical procedures based on fundamental natural sciences and biomedical sciences while adhering to regulatory requirements to ensure accuracy and safety in pharmacy practice.

PLO7: Perform analytical techniques in research and quality control of pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical raw materials.

PLO8: Perform pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and quality control of drugs and pharmaceutical raw materials in compliance with standards.

PLO9: Construct plans for medication use, pharmaceutical care, and pharmacy practice management in healthcare settings.

PLO10: Solve professional problems in the field of pharmaceutical sciences.

ATTITUDES

PLO11: Demonstrate compliance with pharmaceutical regulations, along with professional responsibility, empathy, and interdisciplinary collaboration in pharmacy practice.
