Functions:
The Faculty of Rehabilitation is a specialized academic unit within the University, operating under the direct guidance of the Rector. The primary function of the Faculty of Rehabilitation is to assist the Rector in developing the Faculty's training strategies in alignment with the University's overall strategic direction, as well as to manage and direct the professional activities of the Faculty and its affiliated departments.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
a) Manage the Faculty's lecturers, staff, and learners in accordance with the Rector's decentralization; conduct evaluations, classifications, and propose grading for the Faculty's staff and employees according to University regulations.
b) Plan and organize the implementation of educational and training activities based on the University's general plan, which includes: developing and improving training programs in the field of rehabilitation; organizing short-term training courses and participating in supporting the development of training programs for other units within the University (e.g., Medicine, Public Health, Nursing, Midwifery); compiling detailed syllabi for related subjects and organizing the development of training programs in accordance with the University's development orientation and the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
c) Plan and execute scientific research activities and apply new technologies in the field of rehabilitation; collaborate with scientific and technological organizations as well as relevant partners to enhance training quality.
d) Develop plans for advancing the teaching staff and upgrading facilities for training and research to ensure the quality of education.
e) Plan and organize the implementation of political, ethical, and professional education activities for lecturers, staff, and learners; manage, evaluate, and classify the Faculty's staff and employees according to University regulations.
f) Manage facilities and equipment in accordance with University regulations and the law.
g) Advise departments and the Rectorate Board on the procurement and repair of machinery, equipment, and facilities serving training purposes.
h) Formulate plans and policies to connect and provide community services related to the assigned functions and tasks.
i) Participate in mass organization activities and perform other duties as assigned by the University.
The Faculty of Rehabilitation also coordinates with the Information Technology and Communication Center and the Library to establish information channels, introduce and promote its academic disciplines, and boost the Faculty's brand image.
