CURRICULUM AND SYLLABUS

PROGRAM - BACHELOR OF REHABILITATION TECHNIQUES

Program educational objectives and program learning outcomes of the undergraduate training program in Rehabilitation techniques issued under Decision No. 274/QD-DHKTYDDN dated June 20th 2022 of the Rector of the DaNang University of Medical Technology – Pharmacy.

1. PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVE (POb)

To train Bachelors of Rehabilitation Techniques who possess professional ethical qualities, a strong sense of legal compliance, and foundational scientific and medical knowledge. Graduates are expected to have a solid understanding of intervention methods; demonstrate safe and evidence-based professional practice skills tailored to individual patients; and be capable of interdisciplinary teamwork and effective communication. They should also be able to conduct scientific research, apply digital technology and artificial intelligence in ensuring patient safety and rights, and actively contribute to comprehensive healthcare services.

2. PROGRAM LEARNING OUTCOMES – PLO

Upon completion of the education program of Rehabilitation techniques of Danang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy, graduates have the following competencies:

PLO 1: Apply knowledge of natural sciences, political theory, and law to professional activities and daily life.

PLO 2: Analyze changes in anatomical structure, physiological function, and pathological conditions as a basis for rehabilitation.

PLO 3:Analyze the scientific basis of principles, assessment tools, and specialized intervention techniques.

PLO 4: Establish and implement assessment and rehabilitation intervention plans that are safe, individualized, and based on evidence-based medicine.

PLO 5: Organize counseling and health education activities appropriate to the characteristics of patients and the community.

PLO 6: Coordinate resources and interdisciplinary team activities in the process of management and patient care.

PLO 7: Analyze scientific data, foreign-language materials, and digital technology to update knowledge and improve clinical practice.

PLO 8: Comply with legal regulations, internal healthcare regulations, and professional ethical standards.

PLO 9: Commit to ensuring patient safety and rights, and respecting cultural diversity in the professional practice environment.
